ACCOMMODATION: Services and Facilities
The Kabubbu Resort Centre offers a wide range of services and facilities. Many visit as teams of volunteers to work in the community; others for a time of relaxation or touse the Kabubbu Resort Centre as a touring base.

The Kabubbu Resort Centre offers a full playground for children (parental supervision required) including a wide range of climbing activities, swings, a row of ‘shops’ including a filling station and ‘radio’. Lots of exciting play possibilities.

At the Bar area we hold a wide range of board games including Scrabble, Monopoly and chess plus many you may, or may not, have played before. The Bar also provides snacks (resort made potato chips (fries), pizzas, popcorn etc.) and soft drinks called ‘soda’ (Coke, Fanta etc.) plus beer, wine and selected spirits.

There’s also a 9-hole ‘Crazy Golf’ course at the Kabubbu Resort Centre – and it will drive you crazy - but its great fun! Clubs and balls available for hire at the Reception Desk.

A short drive - no further than 5 km from the Kabubbu Resort Centre - is the Mary Louise Simpkins Memorial Golf Course, Namulonge where you would be most welcome to play a round of golf. The green fee and a caddy will cost around UGX 25,000 (subject to currency fluctuations) and you can hire all equipment including clubs, balls and tees for modest amounts. Open daily from 7.00am – 7.00pm. You will probably have to share a set of clubs, but that means you only need one caddy!
If you want some leisurely activities at the Kabubbu Resort Centre the staff can arrange an afternoon of traditional basket making when you will end up with your very own small basket you have made. Or an afternoon learning to play African drums or the techniques of traditional African dance. If there is a group of you (minimum numbers may apply) the staff can arrange an ‘African Evening’ featuring traditional music, dancing and drama in the performance area of the restaurant.
The trained Kabubbu Resort Centre staff can arrange a wide variety of tours around Uganda. These range from visiting safari parks, Lake Victoria, the Source of the Nile and many other places of excitement and interest. See: TOURS
We can also help you organise some volunteer time within the Kabubbu community of which the Kabubbu Resort Centre is a part. Terms and conditions apply.See: ACCOMMODATION: ABOUT US
